SECoPA is more than an annual conference—it's a vibrant professional community dedicated to advancing public service, fostering collaboration, and supporting the next generation of public administration leaders. Whether you are a student, faculty member, practitioner, nonprofit professional, or government executive, there are numerous ways to engage with the organization throughout the year.

BECOME A MEMBER​

Joining SECoPA is the first step toward becoming part of a regional network of professionals committed to excellence in public administration and public policy. Membership provides opportunities to connect with peers, participate in leadership, receive conference updates, and contribute to the advancement of the profession.

Membership in SECoPA is open to all active members of ASPA who belong to chapters located in the southeastern United States, that is Region III.​​, including the States of Alabama (AL), Arkansas (AR), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Kentucky (KY), Louisiana (LA), Mississippi (MS), North Carolina (NC), South Carolina, (SC), and Tennessee (TN) .​

Each year, SECoPA hosts a premier regional conference that brings together scholars, practitioners, students, and public leaders from across the southeastern United States. The conference features research presentations, practitioner panels, professional development workshops, keynote speakers, networking events, and opportunities to collaborate on emerging issues affecting public service.

SECoPA welcomes proposals from researchers, practitioners, students, and collaborative teams.
